The performance Évasion is the result of a training with hiphop dancers in Saint Louis, Senegal. This training period in the north of Senegal, near the border with Mauritania had identity and gender as major themes. The dancers were quite young and parental control made it hard to release them to participate in the training. Especially for the young women in the group. Dancing is not easily accepted in this strict islamic region. The production premiered at the Duosolo dancefestival in 2019 with a follow up in the nearby village of Gandon.
