Identité Culturelle and Mouvement is a training program by Le Grand Cru focused on regional exchange of dance traditions and strengthening of regional cultural networks. The training included the exchange and learning of traditional dance techniques from Benin and Mali, modern dance techniques and artistic guidance and coaching of young artists in a choreographed program. This young makers program presented three choreographers from Benin and three from Mali. Each choreographer worked several weeks with between two to eight dancers. “A Corps et A Cri” was presented at the Musée National de Bamako as a preview during the composition phase and two nights of the program.
